sun

Goodmorning everyone
Another week has passed and in between work and cleaning the house, I found some time to make this sunny paper bag. It's for a friend of my daughter who needs a little bit of cheering up.

The bag (yellow cardstock from Tom Holz) as well as the tag and sun were made from templates in the silhouette store. The design paper is Howdy Doody from my Mind's eye. Tilda was colored with distress refillers and the flowers are from WIld Orchid Crafts.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
dutch magnolia lovers - anything but a card
totally tilda challenge blog - Tilda with bunting and/or pennant
magnolia down under challenges - decorate a paper bag for a gift.

Well, we got some wonderful weather coming our way in Holland. Hope you do too.
Enjoy the weekend

Love

Hi everyone,
What a horrible weather we had yesterday morning. I was right in the middle of some really heavy rainfall. So I stayed indoors most of the time to do some crafting.
And this is the result
Most of the stuff I found in my cupboards only the background paper of the stamp is by Maja Design and the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. I coloured Tilda with distress re-inkers.
The embossing was done with the cuttlebug and then I added some colour with chalk.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
magnolia stamp lovers - distress (I did a bit of distressing on the edges of the card and used                                                 distress  ink to color the stamp)
totally tilda - Tilda with pennant and/or bunting
magnolia down under challenges - Bingo (I picked sentiment/tilda/lace, ribbon)
just magnolia - purple and white
magnolia-licious highlites  - LOVE blog hop

See you again soon

summertime

Hi everyone,
Today I was fortunate to have a lot of crafting time and I had another go at coloring with distress ink, only this time with Canson Montval 300 g paper, which is so much easier to work with than the paper I used before.

This time I masked 2 stamps from the Magnolia Summer Memories collection and coloured them with distress ink. The paper I used is 'Life by the sea' by Maja design and the flowers came from Wild Orchid Crafts. The scalloped stamp background was cut with the silhouette.
For the inside of the card I printed the above on off-white cardstock.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
magnolia down under challenges - Seeing Double
TOMIC - 1st anniversary Anything Goes
midweek magnolias - Anything Goes
magnolia-licious challenge blog  - inspiration photo

Enjoy your weekend and see you next time

an apple a day

Here I am once again. It's been busy at work so I didn't have much time left for crafting.
Today I want to show a crad that I made for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge.

For this one i had a first go at coloring with distress ink and I have to admit that I found it somewhat more difficult than I had anticipated. But I'm sure it'll get better along the way. I'm not quite satisfied with the way it turned out but I was in a hurry to finish it and that is never a good thing. So what can I say.....the little designer paper I did use is Howdy doody from My Mind's eye. The apple, heart and tag were cut with the silhouette and the die cut is from Memory Box.

As said I'm entering this card in the Magnolia stamp lovers Challenge where the theme is 'so fruity' this time.

Bye for now
