Gift Box
Hi Everyone,
This past week I've been taking my first steps onto designing something for the Silhouette Cameo and I came up with a little gift box (I got the idea from a Nescafe Dolce Gusto box) and I actually think it turned out quite nice...
The box as well as the stamped postcard were made with Kraft paper, the design paper is from BoBunny and I coloured Tilda with distress markers. The 2 stars on the right are dies from Marianne Design and the one on the left I cut with the Silhouette. If anyone would be interested in the gift box studio file, I made a link to download it here. I would love to hear what you think.
Furthermore I would like to enter this box in the following challenges:
duymelot design team - anything goes
just magnolia - What's new
simply magnolia - anything goes
magnolia mania challenge - Blue - Brown
See you next time

early christmas
Hi everyone,
Here I finally am again after a long period of silence. A lot has been going on in my life; some things not so nice but the news that I'm going to be a grandmother has really made me the happiest person in the world. And with all the happy feelings, the inspiration also came back. So here's my first Christmas card of the year:
I used a stamp from the new Magnolia Christmas collection. The card-shape, christmas trees and ticket were cut with the Silhouette; the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the design paper is from BoBunny (Snowfall Collection),. I've coloured the stamp with a combination of Distress markers and -re- inkers on Montval Canson.
The inside of the card was decorated with a sketch from the Silhouette Cameo.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
midweek magnolias - non domesticated animal
7 kids challengeblog - anything goes
anything goes challenge blog - early christmas
Feels great to be back. Hope not to keep you waiting this long next time. Bye for now and have a great week

sun
Goodmorning everyone
Another week has passed and in between work and cleaning the house, I found some time to make this sunny paper bag. It's for a friend of my daughter who needs a little bit of cheering up.
The bag (yellow cardstock from Tom Holz) as well as the tag and sun were made from templates in the silhouette store. The design paper is Howdy Doody from my Mind's eye. Tilda was colored with distress refillers and the flowers are from WIld Orchid Crafts.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
dutch magnolia lovers - anything but a card
totally tilda challenge blog - Tilda with bunting and/or pennant
magnolia down under challenges - decorate a paper bag for a gift.
Well, we got some wonderful weather coming our way in Holland. Hope you do too.
Enjoy the weekend

Love
Hi everyone,
What a horrible weather we had yesterday morning. I was right in the middle of some really heavy rainfall. So I stayed indoors most of the time to do some crafting.
And this is the result
Most of the stuff I found in my cupboards only the background paper of the stamp is by Maja Design and the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. I coloured Tilda with distress re-inkers.
The embossing was done with the cuttlebug and then I added some colour with chalk.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
magnolia stamp lovers - distress (I did a bit of distressing on the edges of the card and used distress ink to color the stamp)
totally tilda - Tilda with pennant and/or bunting
magnolia down under challenges - Bingo (I picked sentiment/tilda/lace, ribbon)
just magnolia - purple and white
magnolia-licious highlites - LOVE blog hop
See you again soon

summertime
Hi everyone,
Today I was fortunate to have a lot of crafting time and I had another go at coloring with distress ink, only this time with Canson Montval 300 g paper, which is so much easier to work with than the paper I used before.
This time I masked 2 stamps from the Magnolia Summer Memories collection and coloured them with distress ink. The paper I used is 'Life by the sea' by Maja design and the flowers came from Wild Orchid Crafts. The scalloped stamp background was cut with the silhouette.
For the inside of the card I printed the above on off-white cardstock.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
magnolia down under challenges - Seeing Double
TOMIC - 1st anniversary Anything Goes
midweek magnolias - Anything Goes
magnolia-licious challenge blog - inspiration photo

an apple a day
Here I am once again. It's been busy at work so I didn't have much time left for crafting.
Today I want to show a crad that I made for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge.
For this one i had a first go at coloring with distress ink and I have to admit that I found it somewhat more difficult than I had anticipated. But I'm sure it'll get better along the way. I'm not quite satisfied with the way it turned out but I was in a hurry to finish it and that is never a good thing. So what can I say.....the little designer paper I did use is Howdy doody from My Mind's eye. The apple, heart and tag were cut with the silhouette and the die cut is from Memory Box.
As said I'm entering this card in the Magnolia stamp lovers Challenge where the theme is 'so fruity' this time.
Bye for now

happy 50th birthday
Goodmorning everyone.
Just a quick post this morning to show off the birthday card that i made for a friend who is turning 50 today. I designed it myself and used the silhouette to cut it.
The background paper is Paris&Co from My Minds Eye. I wanted to keep it simple so the '50' would come out better and I'm pretty pleased with it.
Have a nice day

gimme a brake
Hi everyone,
What a great week it's been. On tuesday I got my long awaited Silhouette Cameo as well as the new magnolia stamps I ordered. So after playing around and practicing with my cameo, I came up with the following card.
The stamps are from the Magnolia summer memories collection and I had this old paperpad still laying around. The palmtree and the border were cut with the silhouette. It was one of my first tries and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. Unfortunately I forgot to make a note of the markers I used.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenge:
cute card thursday (one for the boys).

Bon Voyage
Hi everyone,
Just spent another sundaymorning crafting. The weather's not that special today and my back's hurting so ideal to spend the day indoors.
For the card I made this morning, I followed the challenge on the CLP Challenge Blog
and this is what I came up with:
I combined the following flex and copic markers: M419-Sandstone-Nutmeg-Capuchino-Auburn-Saddle Brown-R00-RV01-E00-E11-E13-G82-G94-G99.
The paper is from Wild Rose Studio (Letters from Paris) and I got the flowers from Wild orchid Crafts. The border die is from XCut.
There's a lot of challenges I want to enter this card in so here we go:
CLP Challenge Blog (sketch)
Steel Magnolia's (anything goes)
Magnolia Stamp Lovers (Stitching)
Magnolia Down Under (stamp from the Bon Voyage collection)
Cute card thursday (include an animal)
midweek magnolia's (open theme)
Totally Tilda (Tilda in stitches)
I've already seen some great new challenges, so on to the next one.
Have a great weekend (or what's left of it)

Birdhouse Tilda
Hi everyone,
Hope you're all enjoying your sunday. I usually spend my sundaymornings crafting and was really happy with the new challenge at MDUC this morning. The challenge is anything but a card and as I usually only make cards, this really is a great opprtunity to think out of the box. Here's what i came up with
I found the birdhouse template at http://traceyhanshaw.blogspot.com. The paper is from K&Company and I used blue ribbon (Marianne Design), butterfly dies, rosette die from Tim Holtz and flowers from Wil Orchid.
The Magnolia stamp is from the mini collection and i colored it with flex markers Light Fawn, Blush, Sandstone, Glacier Blue, Cadet Blue, Cloud Blue, Blue Gray 2 and 4 and IG 6.
As said, I'm entering my bird house in this challenge:
Magnolia Down Under: anything but a card
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, I'm off to work in 20 minutes.

Sea Tilda
Here's my entry for the Magnolia Down Under challenge. I was working on this card yesterday, not quite knowing how to finish it. So when I saw that the MDU challenge was to create a card with a flag or banner, my choice was easily made. So here it is:

Tilda with heart
Finally, at last, I've come up with a new card again. I've been busy with all kinds of other crafts, but I always keep coming back to card making.
The Tilda stamp is from the 'sweet crazy love'collection, and I coloured her hair with ProMarkers (O727-O518-O928) and the rest with SketchMarkers (BG72-BG75-BG78, R43-R46-R59-RY13, E00-E11-E13).
The paper is by Prima Marketing (Nature Garden) and I used dies from Tim Holtz, Joy Crafts and Marianne Design.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Totally Tilda Challenge Blog ( Happy Birthday )
Magnolia Stamp Lovers ( Butterflies )
Magnolia Down Under Challenges ( sketch )
Hope to see you all again soon with a new creation
